This work has for objective a study of the application of the concepts of management of defined software projects for PMBOK - Project Management Body of Knowledge - in the ambit of the management of time of projects. To demonstrate some of these concepts, the prototype of a system of management of time was developed in projects of software, that assists to the patterns established by the area of management of time of PMBOK. The prototipe was develope by using the toll Case Power Designer for especification, Interbase 6 how to manage the data base and the Delphi 7 as development tool.
