| This paper aims to expose a proposed architecture to build a Data Warehouse (DW) and the application of the Business Intelligence (BI) in a system of public health management. The system can provide to public health managers a better understanding of the processes through quantitative indicators. This is possible since it has been implemented ETL routines that are responsible for bringing the information presented for dashboards, reports and analytical views. The BI was implemented using Pentaho and MS SqlServer. Pentaho is a tool that covers all areas of a BI and ETL, data presentation, dashboards, user administration and scheduling extractions among other functions. The DW tables and views structure views was development with MS SqlServer. |
