| This work presents a mobile application that applies the Artificial Intelligence method known as Case-Based Reasoning to identify the most likely mental illnesses utilizing the premises found in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. It was look for innovation in how to identify the mental illness and how a mobile tool can effectively fit in this field of healthcare. For development it was used the Android platform consuming a web service hosted in an Apache Tomcat server utilizing Axis2 as framework, both using Java programming language, and MySQL database. The result was a system which identification mechanism of mental illness reduces the time spent in the search of the medical diagnosis. |
