| This work presents the development of a location-based application called "BusMaps". This application allows the user to view important informations whiches eases the use of public transport service in Blumenau city, solving simple questions like which is the nearest bus-station or what time o’clock the bus is scheduled to arrive at it. The application was developed to the Android platform, utilizing Node.js to create the WebService which communicates with a MySQL database. The system meets the needs of the users and corresponds nicely to the objectives of this paper considering the expected results. |
