Manage information has been a major challenge for companies in the face of competition that exists in the market. As a goal, this work presents the development of an application to assist the decision making of managers in a chemical company. The system developed is based on the concepts of Business Intelligence for the generation and manipulation of information. Reports are generated by extracting data in the database, where they are selected according to the need of decision making by managers. The system was developed with the tool QlikView and SQL Server database for data persistence. As a result, there is a system in which managers can apply the filters as the dimensions, obtaining the desired information for decision-making company.
