This paper describes the development of a software to analyze and detect melanoma in skin lesion, using the ABCD rule as a base algorithm. The biggest difference of this paper is that the entire analyze/detection process works in the mobile device running on the iOS platform. The results shows that the software is efficient on detecting melanomas, but it needs more focus on adjusting individual ABCD rule criterion, in order to get values closer to the values detected by the specialist.
