This paper describes the development of a prototype software that performs the analysis and classification of skin lesion using the ABCD rule. The image is initially submitted to the prototype, techniques are applied to image processing algorithms through noise filters, segmentation and data clustering. At the end of image processing, it generated a classification of skin lesions related to their malignancy (benign or malignant). The results generated by image processing techniques used proved to be reasonably satisfactory to obtain the correct classification of skin lesion, but the presence of noise as its effectiveness hair left to be desired.
