| This work presents a utilization of the mobile agents paradigm. It also presents the specification and implementation of a software prototype which uses mobile agents to make monitoring of computers in a network. For the implementation of the mobile agents was utilized the Java programming language. The C language was also used to implement a DLL, for obtaining informations about resources of the Windows operating system. The DLL is accessed through the agent implemented in Java. The same mobile agents were implemented in the SACI and Aglets platforms. The compatibility between the platforms is discussed. |
