This paper presents the specification, development and operation process of a web application
for word memorization and other subjects, which uses the Spaced Repetition System (SRS)
method, called Flashcard App. The chosen methodology allows subjects studied to be
reviewed before the brain even loses this information. To use the application the user must
register and after a previous registration of subject categories and flashcards, can take lessons
to memorize continuously the contents studied. Learning and memorization can be done by
the use of flashcards that have questions on one side and their respective answers on the other,
with the corresponding audios. After studying a content, the algorithm schedules the ideal
time intervals for the content to be reviewed. The objectives of this work were accomplished,
since it was possible to review words with time intervals provided by the SRS method. |
