Título: ROUTE: UM PROTÓTIPO PARA VISUALIZAÇÃO DE INFORMAÇÕES DO TRÂNSITO EM TEMPO REAL
 
Abstract:
Time is one of the most valuable resource in people's lives, so every possible help to save it is of great importance. Aiming at an increasingly intelligent and connected traffic, plus the privilege of most of the people own a smartphone with GPS, this paper describes the construction of a collaborative Android application for collecting traffic information, verifying the smallest path between two points from a historical series. The user will be able to check the last routes traveled besides to consult the situation of the routes by day of the week, period of the month and interval of time. The application will also show to the user the best day and time to start the desired route. For the construction of the application, it was used the Android Studio development environment, in the Java language. The server was built using the C# programming language, with the features of .Net Core and Entity Framework. Hosting the SQL Server database and application APIs was done in the cloud with Microsoft Azure. The results obtained in the tests of the application with the users' collaboration demonstrate that the prototype fulfilled its objective, being able to show clearly the information of the desired path and also the best date to go through it.
