Abstract:
The work aims to develop a system to support the Operation Center of the Itajaí Basin Warning System (CEOPS). In the Itajaí Valley mesoregion, natural disasters caused by floods are common. It is necessary to create actions to reduce the damage caused by the floods. In order to provide another alternative to deal with this demand, a web system was developed that could predict the river level up to 8 hours in advance for Blumenau and Rio do Sul cities. In addition, to the forecast capacity the system has other functionalities, such as predictive module, inconsistency checks in the CEOPS telemetry data and comparative graph. The AutoRegressive Moving Average mathematical model with eXogenous inputs (ARMAX). That are already calibrated for the cities of Blumenau and Rio do Sul, was used to perform the estimates, although the tool allows to register new mathematical models.
