| This paper presents the specification and implementation of an application prototype to assist in the development and phonetic acquisition of autistic children. The application was developed for the Android platform and uses a dictionary of pre-defined words classified according to the complexity of the syllables that compose them. Its main feature is the voice recognition and the use of gamification techniques as a way of bonuses to the child. It also uses speech synthesis as a way to help children in the correct pronunciation of words. The assessment of the application was carried out by a psychologist, education specialist for autism through usability testing, recognition of words and techniques applied bonuses. The result allows audiologists use the application built in their therapy sessions.. |
