| Abstract: |
| The present paper aims to present the development of a system intended to assist in the management activity of the practice of pisciculture; i.e., fish farming in freshwater. In order to meet this goal, the application enables the recording, handling and presentation of information related to pisciculture, and the manipulated data have the scope of operations on the records of fish, food, properties, vivariums and the elements contained within them (fishes included, water quality and feeding provided). To develop the application, the tool Netbeans 7.3.1 was used as a development platform, PostgreSQL as a database for storing information and pgAdmin 1.18.1 for manipulating entities and data visualization. |
