This work describes the construction of a library for development of articulated characters for Android platform mobile devices and an application that uses the library to draw a mechanic articulated arm. The library provides tools for creating simple articulated characters. It was used OpenGL ES 1.0 library available on Android to draw these characters. The interaction with the application is done by touch screen, and the camera can rotate freely and move each of the joints. Finally it was presented a study of practical performance with the application running an Android platform device.
