This work describes the construction of a library which applies the concept of portal culling and also a test application that shows the developed library to Android platform. The library uses an environment previously mapped and allows the camera to be able to identify the points of interest that are located in the camera’s field of vision. The test application used the OpenGL ES 1.0 available on Android. This work talks about possible portal culling applications in the field of graphics computing, and presents a use case of performance obtained executing the library on a physical device.
