| This presents the creation of a communication interface through the implementation of a prototype of a communication board that uses 8 bits ISA bus. This board prototype intends to provide the interaction between two computers in order to model a parallel machine. Two software programs ware created a master and slave, to exchange data demonstrating the communication process between the two boards. Finally, it is presented a discussion about the results, mainly about the data transfer rates obtained by the prototype. |
