| This work consists on the research about the functionality of transactions processing systems in distributed environments and the techniques to ensure the functionality of the ACID transactions properties. As the result a distributed transaction management system was implemented, using the two-phase commit protocol and \'redo\' logging algorithm, altogether with a read-write file class that can be used among Visual C++ developers, assisting the comunication through Microsoft\'s distributed object specification (DCOM). |
