| This work presents the development of a specialist system prototype that aims to assist the voter in choosing his candidate in an electoral process. Its purpose is to improve the political representation of voters, who often end up using erroneous criteria or choosing a candidate whose views on important issues do not match the voter profile. This process is based on questions that candidate and voter will answer. The responses of the candidates will feed the knowledge base, which will be stored in a MySQL database. For the implementation of the prototype, the Java language was used. After that, when voters inform their answers, the inference process, using the JESS library through production rules, will indicate the candidate who is most compatible with their profile. After the development of this prototype, field tests were carried out to verify if the prototype reached its goal. The result was positive. Thus, the proposed work achieved its objectives, proving itself as a potential tool that could help other voters. |
