| Currently the need for data storage space is latent, due to the great use of audio, video, text and other resources. However, managing the storage devices in a microcomputer requires analysis and corrective and preventive actions. This work presents a tool for monitoring and managing the spaces occupied in the storage units. The tool enables the identification of files that are consuming the most disk space, monitors directories automatically sending alerts and based on historical data makes projections of occupied spaces in the storage units in the next days, months or years. For the implementation of the tool was used the C # language, storing the data using Microsoft SQL Server and for data persistence the Entity Framework was used. The proposed development was carried out and all objectives were satisfactorily achieved. |
