| This work presents the development of an independent vehicular tracker, in other words, without the need of external server. To allow this autonomy in relation to the web server, the tracker uses Weaved. This tracker was developed using an embedded Linux distribution called OpenWRT. In order to capture the location, a GPS module was used and a Huawei 3G modem was used to issue the notifications and the connection to the FINDCAR system. In addition to tracking the vehicle, this system allows the user to capture images from the interior of the vehicle through a webcam integrated with the hardware. The system allows the user to configure the notifications that are sent by e-mail to recipients in predefined time intervals. At the conclusion of the development of the system, some field tests were performed to verify the functionality of the tracker. One of the difficulties was the time of return of the requests made in the system, which are apparently caused by the oscillation of the upload rate in the 3G network. In terms of tracking and capturing images, both the accuracy of the site and the quality of the images captured by the camera had a good result. |
