This work has aimed to migrate desktop beef traceability system, entitled Aruana-Maleta and
developed by the Development Laboratory and FURB Technology Transfer (LDTT), to a
multiplatform mobile application. As the desktop version, the mobile application allows to
record the data of animals in a rural property, as well as the purchase, sale, birth and death of
these animals. In addition, the application can import data from the desktop version, be used
in offline mode and re-export the updated data to the desktop system. The main advantage is
the convenience provided by the mobile device to monitor the animals in the farm. The
mobile version has been developed in the Delphi Seattle 10 environment, which allows
generation of an application version to each of the major mobile platforms from a single
implementation. However, due to licensing reasons, only the application version for the
Android platform could be generated and tested. |
