This work presents the specification and implementation of an application to route processing using text-to-speech for the Android platform. The application aimed to blind people synthesizes speech, allowing the user, after informing the locations of origin and destination, be guided in his trajectory. The synthesis (pronunciation) is performed through a web API, for converting text-to-speech to portuguese language, applying treatment to support names of german-american origin.
