| Abstract: |
This work´s objective is to present the development of a prototype system to capture data for
consumption and leak analysis of a water distribution network. The capture of data will be
given through PIC microcontrollers installed in water meters and transmitted to the PC via
tranceptores ZigBee (wireless). In the PC a software developed in Java stores these data in a
MySQL database. According to users requests, the PC software executes routines to check
leaks, generate periodic consumption reports, send signals to PIC microcontrollers to control
valves and other functionalities. |
